Main Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities in the Business

As a Workday HCM Consultant (Associate) in Kainos, you'll work as part of a team to support the implementation and configuration of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base. You'll collaborate with team members to understand customer requirements and, with guidance from more senior consultants, deliver solutions aligned to customer needs. You'll know when to escalate issues and seek support from experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and contribute to Workday HCM implementations
• Collaborate with team members and seek guidance from senior consultants as needed
• Escalate issues appropriately and seek support from the broader team
• Able to travel to customer sites in-region (minimal out-of-region travel may also be required)

What We Are Looking For

• Good understanding of Workday products, particularly HCM, or related specialist capability
• Good customer focus with some experience in a customer-facing environment
• Clear and effective communicator, credible with customers and colleagues, including in remote settings
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics
• Attention to detail and ability to work within remote teams and with customers, with limited supervision
• Ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines
• Adherence to standards and procedures to maintain high quality and accuracy
• Awareness of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies; ensures information security
• Willingness to learn about relevant subject matter, e.g., international regulatory requirements
• Willingness to rotate through Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
• For Application Management Services, ability to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements

Nice To Have

• Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll Certification
• Professional qualifications in your area of expertise
• Experience in post-deployment services
