About The Role

We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about SEO-driven content strategy, keyword research, and content optimization to drive organic growth for Network Solutions.

In this role, you will lead a team of content writers, oversee content production, and implement SEO best practices to ensure our content ranks, engages, and converts.

You will have a direct impact on our inbound strategy, working cross-functionally to ensure that every piece of content we publish aligns with user intent and search demand. If you're a strategic thinker who loves mentoring writers, optimizing content, and using data to drive content decisions, then this role is for you.

Develop & Execute SEO-Driven Content Strategy

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value ranking opportunities.
  • Determine whether a keyword deserves a new URL or should be optimized within existing content.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar that accounts for product updates, seasonality trends, and high-conversion opportunities.
Content Optimization & Performance Tracking

  • Oversee on-page SEO, ensuring metadata, headers, internal linking, and content are optimized for search performance.
  • Perform SEO content audits to identify underperforming pages and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Use Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to monitor rankings and refine content strategy.
  • Review final drafts from content writers to ensure the content targets the primary keyword and meets search intent and aligns with competitors.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to writers on how to better write for SEO and target primary keywords.
Lead & Mentor the Content Team

  • Train content writers on SEO best practices, keyword strategy, and search intent alignment.
  • Develop SEO training sessions and resources to improve the team's content strategy skills.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones focused on professional growth and development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content Production

  • Work with product teams, designers, and brand strategists to ensure content aligns with marketing objectives.
  • Manage the content production workflow, ensuring timely execution of SEO-optimized content.
Stay Ahead of SEO Trends & Innovations

  • Keep up with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends to adjust strategy as needed.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI-driven content tools to enhance keyword research and content optimization.
  • Test and implement automation processes to scale high-quality content efficiently.
Who you are & what you'll need to succeed.

SEO & Content Strategy Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing with a strong SEO content strategy and keyword research focus.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog.
  • Ability to identify search trends, keyword opportunities, and content gaps.
  • Ability to highlight past success in content strategy and how it drove results.
Proven Leadership & Training Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and mentoring a content team of 7–10 members, fostering their growth into skilled SEO strategists.
  • Track record of leading content marketing initiatives and driving organic growth.
Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset

  • Strong understanding of SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rate, and time on page.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable SEO recommendations.
Content Creation & Optimization Background

  • Experience creating SEO content briefs for writers and overseeing content production.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to ensure content aligns with search intent.
Project & Workflow Management

  • Proficiency with content management systems (WordPress, Confluence, Jira).
  • Experience managing content calendars, workflows, and deadlines.
