The Role:
We're seeking a BIM Specialist / Tekla Detailer. This role is designed for someone who can translate project requirements into accurate Tekla models, shop drawings, and erection drawings, serving as a technical bridge between engineering, project management, fabrication, and field teams.
You'll play a key role as a dedicated resource on large-scale structural steel projects, developing coordinated structural models and fabrication-ready deliverables while communicating regularly with teams across Axiom and Evolve.

Location: Must be in The Philippines – Remote.
Environment: Philippines and International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time.
Contract: Full Time

Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, construction technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Three or more years of structural modeling, BIM, or steel detailing experience; demonstrated experience using Tekla Structures and Revit; experience on large-scale structural steel projects; experience coordinating with U.S.-based teams a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with Tekla Structures and Revit and model-based steel detailing workflows; ability to interpret architectural, structural, and multidisciplinary construction documents and identify conflicts across trade drawings; understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, erection, and construction practices a plus; working knowledge of AISC and AWS standards, welding symbols, and connection detailing a plus; experience producing clear shop drawings, erection drawings, reports, and RFIs a plus.
• Characteristics: Strong attention to detail, organization, and personal quality control; able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines; clear written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical team members; problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively; committed to accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive communication.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM models using Tekla Structures and Revit, creating coordinated 3D models from architectural, structural, and consultant drawings and specifications.
• Identify and communicate model conflicts, missing information, design discrepancies, and constructability concerns, and participate in model reviews, coordination meetings, and clash-resolution activities.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, addenda, and design revisions to detail dimensions, welds, holes, connections, member locations, and fabrication requirements.
• Generate material lists, reports, CNC or production data, and supporting fabrication documentation, performing quality control of personal work before drawings or data are issued.
• Execute assigned project schedules, communicate progress and roadblocks early, and work closely with project managers, engineers, fabricators, shop teams, and field personnel while maintaining organized project files and drawing revisions.
