Position Specification

  • To meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets, minimum $12K per month cheques in. 150 calls and a minimum of 12 emails out each day. Generate enough leads to ensure you achieve required call rates.

Person Specification

  • Must have strong business acumen and a general understanding of specific business sectors such as IT, HR, and general management.
  • Research skills to effectively target companies and individuals with the aim of having them attend our various conferences and events.
  • A confident and assertive attitude with the ability to understand complex products and concepts and convey their importance and benefits to the target market.
  • High personal drive and ambition.
  • A proven track record in sales or a willingness to learn with a sales disposition.
  • Excellent motivational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to follow the correct sales and administration procedures as per the induction training and continuously improve techniques through additional training and personal development. Ability to have fun while earning money.

Key Tasks

  • Contact key decision makers within leading organisations around Malaysia and internationally; maintain personal database and fill out call sheets.
  • Research companies for leads from magazines, papers, the Internet, government directories, and industry directories (e.g., "Who's Who").
  • Email programs to prospects.
  • Able to follow through on up to 150 calls per day to prospective clients and have researched leads ready before 8:30 am each morning.
  • Close contacts and deals daily.
  • Resolve problems, overcome objections, and propose possible solutions.
  • Aim to achieve a minimum of 12 emails per day.
  • Aim to achieve a minimum of 2.30 hours of phone time per day.
