We are looking for dynamic and driven professionals to join our team as Australian - Tax Consulting Director. You will oversee multiple client engagements, delivering high-quality tax and accounting solutions, and ensuring targets for realization, revenue, and profitability are met.

Work Set-up: Hybrid (2–3x a week)

Responsibilities
  • Managing a specific service line portfolio or technical area.
  • Managing multiple and concurrent complex projects, with contribution from cross-divisional/group specialists as needed.
  • Executing projects to the firm's quality standards and taking accountability for scope, timely and quality deliverables through strong collaboration.
  • Understanding the commercial and contractual aspects of an engagement, including fee proposals, overruns and work above budget.
  • Potentially leading a practice management area within the service line, e.g., People, Financial Management or a Market Segment.
  • Simplifying highly complex business situations and strategies to identify key issues and priorities.
  • Negotiating with high levels of discretion with internal or external parties such as clients, government bodies and other organizations.
Qualifications
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Australian taxation and accounting within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with changes in tax law and accounting standards.
  • A client-centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
