Global Mobility Tax Specialist

Vestas Mobility is in charge of supporting employees and managers in all the transactional activities related to cross-border assignments in Vestas on a global scale. We are an integrated part of our People & Culture organization with more than 300 colleagues around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Be one point of contact between the organization and mobility matters on an operational level.
  • Assignment management: pre-arrival activities, start, ongoing & end of assignment stages.
  • Advising Expatriates: manage the assignee transfer experience from beginning to end. Provide assignee status updates, keep the employee abreast of issues, and offer solutions as issues arise.
  • Interpret and apply Global Mobility Policies.
  • Manage and carry out Payroll instructions.
  • Handle expatriate compensation and changes to Expat Components (assignment addendums).
  • Execution of merit process for the applicable portfolio.
  • Policy Exceptions Level 1.
  • Vendor interphase with outsourced and in-house vendors (vendor authorization).
  • Cost projections.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Relocation Consultant or related mobility professional.
  • Mobility tax experience.
  • Fully outsourced international assignment management experience.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Effective listening and consultative skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills; ability to interact with peers at various levels.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, ability to function as part of a team while working collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity effectively.
  • MS Office proficiency – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and job-related systems.
  • Able to handle several work streams at the same time.
  • Adept at learning and absorbing new knowledge and processes.
  • Able to maintain focus in a busy environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English.
