Ready to revolutionize education through the power of AI? We are seeking a visionary AI Product Director to lead our Education vertical and transform how students learn. This is a strategic product leadership role that aims to architect the future of personalized learning at scale. You will work closely with the founders and lead a team of Product Owners while remaining hands-on with critical strategic initiatives.

This role favors a first-principles thinker who thrives on accountability and measurable impact. We are seeking a strategic leader who can translate learning science and AI capabilities into groundbreaking educational solutions that deliver results.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Strategic Vision Architecture: Create and iterate on the Education Domain BrainLift – the master blueprint that aligns the educational ecosystem and translates market insights into a coherent AI-enabled learning vision.
  • Portfolio Orchestration: Translate the strategic vision into a dynamic portfolio roadmap, prioritizing initiatives to maximize value and align with the broader mission.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Combine strategy with mentoring future leaders; drive critical initiatives while coaching the team to execute and maintain portfolio-wide excellence.
What You Won't Be Doing
  • Traditional People Management: Focus on strategic direction and execution rather than administrative management.
  • Implementing Pre-Baked Strategies: Architect the educational strategy from the ground up rather than executing someone else's vision.
  • Rigid Planning: Maintain an agile, responsive portfolio strategy that evolves with learnings and outcomes.
  • Isolated Feature Development: Build an integrated educational ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected products.
Basic Requirements
  • 6+ years in product leadership with ownership of product vision and strategic problem-solving.
  • Launched at least one product from conception to market with $1M+ in revenue.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for strategic work including research, analysis, and planning.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $200 USD/hour, equating to $400,000 USD/year with a 40-hour workweek and 50 weeks per year. Payments are weekly. For details, see Crossover help and FAQs.
