The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, ensuring high-quality technical solutions that enhance customer engagement and business growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet business requirements.
• Build and optimize AMPscript-based dynamic templates, email templates, automation workflows, and custom queries to support marketing campaigns.
• Develop and manage 1:1 customer journeys using Journey Builder, ensuring personalized and automated customer interactions.
• Implement Marketing Cloud Connect for seamless integration between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
• Perform email deliverability monitoring, reporting, and IP warming to optimize email performance.
• Develop and maintain custom integrations using APEX, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Marketing Cloud APIs.
• Utilize Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Journey Builder for workflow automation and customer engagement strategies.
• Write SQL queries for Data Extensions and optimize database performance within Marketing Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Business Analysts, to ensure seamless data flow and system integration.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices in security, coding standards, and data architecture.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

About You

• 6+ years of experience in Salesforce technologies, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Administrator.
• Strong experience with Marketing Cloud Connector setup and integration with Salesforce and external applications.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Java/JavaScript, JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Experience developing custom Lightning Components using Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Expertise in APEX, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce administration tools.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and object-oriented programming.
• Experience working with Sales and Service Cloud, Case Management processes.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as jQuery, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience with DevOps tools, including SFDX, GitHub, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio Code.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications. (Preferred)
• Experience with Heroku, MuleSoft, and AWS for cloud-based integrations. (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) implementations. (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models and techniques. (Preferred)
