About the role

We are seeking a Junior Software Tester to join our dynamic team at AEC Digital Services' in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our 12d Synergy software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) and IT industry, focusing on Testing & Quality Assurance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing manual functional and regression testing.
  2. Executing manual test cases to ensure product quality.
  3. Logging, identifying, and escalating defects.
  4. Collaborating with the development team to reproduce, analyse, and document issues.
  5. Working with developers and the testing team to resolve issues.
  6. Reporting defect status.
  7. Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and documentation.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant testing certification.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience working with automation is desirable but not required.
  4. Experience working in an agile environment is desirable but not required.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
