We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Finance Solutions Senior Analyst (Oracle Analyst) - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Finance Solutions Senior Analyst (Oracle Analyst) - C12) based in Citi Plaza, Taguig City, Philippines. Citi has embarked on a multi-year Finance Transformation initiative to implement a new Global Financial Accounting and General Ledger platform that provides a daily ledger in every legal entity, linking ledger balances and contract level reconciliations to our daily settlement records and contractual commitments. The Strategic Ledger program as it is named, selected Oracle Cloud as the technology platform of choice, after a rigorous technical and functional assessment of the firm's current ledger platforms against leading industry solutions. The new platform provides enhanced technical capability and supports our finance transformation strategy and realization of our Target Operating Model. The outcome will be a robust global process, governance, and controls to ensure consistent and materially accurate, complete, and timely ledger data and results.

An Oracle Analyst is required at Assistant Vice President level to be part of the Strategic Ledger program. The consultant will play a vital role in the implementation of the Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service & General Ledger module application for Citi ensuring an alignment of business needs with the product functionality. The consultant will have a deep understanding of Oracle Financial modules gained from previous implementations of Oracle ERP Cloud (General Ledger and Accounting Hub).

In this role, you're expected to:

  • Provide expertise on Oracle's Accounting Hub Cloud Service & General Ledger module and implementation.
  • Support functional lead in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis and solution design activities.
  • Prepare high quality business requirements and provide input and guidance on functional design documents.
  • Engage with technology teams to provide SME support on development of Citi solutions not met by Oracle out of the box capability.
  • Engage with technology teams to provide inputs on configurations/setups required during testing phase in different Oracle modules.
  • Provide input to test preparation activities, training material development and process documentation as required.
  • Work closely with Finance and program cross functional teams to support testing and business readiness activities.
  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and standards for global Finance processes.
  • Strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.
  • Acts as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions.
  • Implements policies and procedures.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelors' degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or related field is required; CA, CPA or equivalent will be a differentiator.
  • Recent experience and knowledge of Oracle Finance, Accounts cloud modules. Relevant Oracle expert certification will be an advantage.
  • Experience of operating in a disciplined program management environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • In depth knowledge of banking products/systems preferred.
