PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) group serves SAP customers in managing their data and transforming their landscapes. Business, market, and technology changes often result in realignment of business processes and structures.

This reflects in various business and IT driven activities, such as:

• Fast-track data migration and the move to SAP S/4HANA via selective data transition (SAP S/4HANA SDT) options into SAP
• Manage business and IT challenges that come with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Optimization of processes and data, or organizational restructuring
• Ensure data harmonization, data restructuring or the consolidation of IT system landscapes
• Improve data governance, master data management, data quality and information lifecycle management

We support and advise our customers globally in strategy definition, conceptual planning, and the realization of their business and digital transformation requirements. In fast-paced changing market and business requirements, it is also essential for customers to adopt the digital platform to drive their business innovation with SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA cloud. The DMLT service portfolio and solution offerings play a significant role in helping customers transition to SAP S/4HANA, BW/4, SuccessFactors, SAP Data Intelligence and more.

The DMLT solution offerings are based on three main portfolio items:

• Transformation solutions helping customers with their transition into the digital economy – on-premise and cloud offerings
• Landscape transformation services including roadmap design, advisory, business blueprinting, execution, and safeguarding for topics like M&A, Divestitures, Unification services and System consolidation (all releases)
• End-to-end data management solutions with products and technologies for Data Quality, Data Integration, Data Governance processes etc.

The service portfolio delivery ranges from short-term engagements to long-term customer projects across global locations.

THE ROLE AND EXPECTATIONS

The SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) as part of SAP's Customer Success & Delivery Board Area is searching for a senior consultant to join the DMLT consulting team in SAP Philippines office.

As a DMLT Services Architect Senior Consultant, your job will involve working in a global team focusing on delivering national and international projects across global regions to realize planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes and drive customers transition to SAP S/4HANA. The DMLT team offers a full solution package encompassing analysis, architecture and service delivery putting the customers in the center of all our activities.

Your main tasks are:

• Identifying customer's holistic business needs and designing and architecting the appropriate solution proposal from the DMLT Portfolio and beyond
• Leading and facilitating customer's workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for the customers' requirement
• Delivering of DMLT services projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams
• Conducting feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT products, tools and methodology
• Contributing to continuously enhance the DMLT solution design according to changing market requirements and identify potential enhancements
• Closely collaborate with people in different roles and locations, and with different areas and levels of expertise (for example, customer success partner, developers, product owners, solution architects, sales teams)
• Establish and maintain trustful relationships with internal and external customers.
• Drive customer opportunities throughout all engagement phases (presales, sales and delivery)
• Continuous learning about new technologies, products, solutions and from project delivery experience
• Strong team player attitude: actively establish relationships and motivate through inspiration.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor or Master's in computer science or related field
• Business development skills – understand customer's pain points and present potential SAP/DMLT data transformation solutions and conduct GTM exercise to drive business
• Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches
• 'Make it happen' and 'Fighter' attitude, hands-on approach. Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Skills in other languages like German are a strong asset
• Very good analytical skills combined with the ability to condense and visualize results.
• Soft skills in communication, scope management, change management

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience as Consultant or Solution Architect of SAP Software solution portfolio or module
• Detailed understanding of cloud foundry architecture and development methodology
• Strong Design & Architecture skills - Experience in the overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
• SAP Full stack experience with S/4HANA implementations or extensions/integrations with BTP
• Experience in Generative AI technology platform offerings and frameworks (Open source, 3rd party platforms e.g ChatGPT etc.)
• Experience in code management tools like GitHub etc. and familiarity with cloud computing and cloud native technologies (e.g. Docker, K8S etc.)
• Experience with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban), Test-driven development mindset and Experience with Programming skills in SAP environment (e.g. RAP-Restful ABAP Programming, CAP-Cloud Application Programming)
• Good understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices in SAP environment and knowledge of integration patterns and technologies within the SAP ecosystem and with SAP security frameworks and protocols
• Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches, and/or data management topics like data management strategy, data intelligence, data quality, master data governance
• Experience in Data Migration / Data Integration Solutions - SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit, SDI, SLT, Data Intelligence
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and data integration platforms.
• Experience in one or more of the following SAP Data Management solutions/tools: LSMW, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, Selective Data Transition (SDT), SAP Migration Workbench (MWB), SAP Conversion Workbench (CWB)
• Process knowhow for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate or Hire-2-Retire are a strong asset
• Knowledge of writing functional specifications, creating or reviewing solution concepts & designs and technical specifications. Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go-Live of Customer implementation projects
• Presales acumen, assisting in defining the scope of a project or opportunity, estimating efforts and project timelines
• Experience in running international consulting projects.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP financial processes and data models is a plus.
• Knowledge on SAP's best practice standards and tools for Application Lifecycle Management of Cloud Solutions is a plus
• Relevant SAP Technology experience, SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus
