We are hiring a Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize procurement operations for our client. This role will involve leading sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
The Procurement Manager will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to streamline the supply chain and procurement process, drive cost savings, and mitigate risks.
This position is contingent on the award of the project.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead supplier performance evaluations and develop long-term supplier relationships.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
- Manage procurement reporting, including cost analysis and supplier performance metrics.
- Identify market trends and innovation opportunities in procurement.
- Lead and mentor procurement staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience managing supplier contracts and procurement budgets.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, cost control strategies, and compliance requirements.
