The Role: Data Analyst, Corporate Data (Corporate Profiles, GICS & Industry Classifications)

The Team:

The team works on collecting Company Profile, Industry Classification & People data from company filed documents & websites which is then published on our Product. This provides a unique opportunity to gain knowledge of multiple data-sets and learn about key regulatory documents, Financial Reports along with Industry concepts like GICS, SIC, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Process data (depending on the process selected for) and apply it in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge.
  • Extraction, collection, standardization, and validation of profiles and industry classification data for public and private companies from various sources as per the guidelines.
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets based on productivity and timeliness metrics.
  • Delivering accurate and defect free work with 'Doing right the first time' mindset.
  • Provide inputs and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the respective processes.
  • Build subject matter expertise towards various workflows and processes within the dataset.
  • Keep up to date knowledge of content datasets.
