Procurement Expeditor

The Order Expeditor is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and following up with suppliers on product delivery in accordance with the terms and conditions of the client. The incumbent is expected to generate weekly expediting reports, escalate overdue purchase orders (POs), and maintain on-time delivery without exceptions. It is also expected that the incumbent shares knowledge and skills with new members and other colleagues to support the operations of the department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tracking Orders: Keeping track of purchase orders and ensuring that goods or materials are delivered on time.
• Communicating with Suppliers: Contacting suppliers to check the status of orders, ensuring they are shipped on time, and addressing any issues that may cause delays. Facilitates smooth PO delivery by maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to maintain a strong relationship with the clients.
• Managing Schedules: Coordinating delivery schedules with vendors, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Problem Solving: If there are any delays or issues (like backorders, shortages, or miscommunication), the expeditor steps in to resolve them and keep things on track.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year of experience in expediting or client/supplier coordination, and tracking orders, shipments, and deliveries.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
