PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales to establish sales plan and budget to reflect the company's and the hotel's goals and objectives.
- Maintain and upgrade communication networks to ensure that the hotel has a competitive advantage in information and sales leads.
- Conduct market analysis and devise strategies for generating new business.
- Analyze the sales results and recommend ways to improve or solve problems.
- Furnish sales monthly reports on a timely basis.
- Achieve budgeted room night quotas and average rates set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales.
- Report to the Director of Sales.
- Coordinate with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.
- Communicate effectively with guests, clients, business partners, and staff.
- Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
- Represent Dusit's brand and its values at all times, establishing relationships and delivering an exceptional guest experience while promoting Thai graciousness.
- Communicate and fully embrace the Company's culture (our Vision, our Mission, and our Values), lead by example, and cascade to all subordinates – "Proud to belong and to contribute."
- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and databases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dust Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer, and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
- Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5-star class environment.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel.
- Professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
