Job Summary

The Accounting Staff is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Financial Record-keeping
  1. Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
  2. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  3. Verify and reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
Financial Reporting
  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Generate reports on cash flow, expenses, and budget variances as required.
  3. Support the management in financial analysis and forecasting activities.
Compliance and Audit
  1. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
  2. Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings, such as VAT, income tax, and other government-mandated reports.
  3. Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation for financial audits.
Payroll and Disbursements
  1. Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
  2. Prepare and disburse checks, vouchers, and bank transfers for vendor payments.
  3. Ensure proper documentation and authorization for all disbursements.
Budget Management
  1. Support the preparation of annual budgets and monitor adherence to approved budgets.
  2. Identify and report discrepancies between actual expenditures and budgeted amounts.
Other Duties
  1. Provide administrative support to the Accounting and Finance team.
  2. Respond to inquiries from internal departments, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.
  3. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor or Manager.
