As a Senior Network Security Engineer supporting our global network security client through Enorth Resourcing, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of complex firewall migrations, security policy translation, cutover execution, and L4 project engineering support. Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting, deploying, and managing enterprise Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama infrastructures, executing complex cross-vendor firewall migrations and rule translations, operating within fast-paced MSP or NOC environments, aligning daily operations with US Eastern time zones and rotational shifts, troubleshooting high-severity security incidents, and collaborating closely with global security operations and client engineering squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve complex security anomalies under strict enterprise delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise‑grade Palo Alto Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama management platforms.
• Execute complex cross‑vendor firewall migrations, rule translations, policy optimization, and seamless cutover operations.
• Act as the senior L4 project engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for advanced network security, threat prevention, and routing.
• Operate effectively within high‑demand Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Network Operations Center (NOC) operational frameworks.
• Support mission‑critical security infrastructures aligned with US Eastern working hours and scheduled rotational shift rosters.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise networking and network security engineering.
• Mandatory genuine Subject Matter Expert (SME) proficiency in Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama administration.
• Mandatory active PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) certification (Non‑negotiable requirement).
• Proven hands‑on professional experience executing cross‑vendor firewall migrations, rule translation, and cutover planning.
• Substantial career background working within Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.
