While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

As an experienced database developer, you'll play a key role in managing and organising data, ensuring that the databases are both efficient and secure. You will bring software and solution engineering experience and apply best practices, while solving a varied range of technical problems and delivery challenges. You will also play a critical role with our operational and business stakeholders.

What you offer
  • 5+ years of experience of database development with experience in designing and supporting Business Intelligence capabilities, including ETL processes and warehouse architecture
  • Experience in designing, developing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts to support various business operations
  • Experience in creating and optimising reports and dashboards using SSRS or any equivalent (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience in automating and managing SQL server tasks with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in modern cloud database solutions like AWS is an advantage
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and excellent database knowledge in designing and creating database structures.
