Responsibilities
Job Description
  1. Revenue
    • Supervise the efficient and reliable operation and maintenance of facilities mechanical equipment to ensure the availability and reliability of mechanical utilities supporting operations in meeting volume call-offs.
  2. Profit
    • Control expenditures for mechanical operation and maintenance to meet spending targets.
    • Support energy projects or cost reduction measures to generate savings.
    • Review, sign, and seal mechanical service reports including plans and drawings.
  3. Strategy/Planning
    • Develop a 5-year building infrastructure strategy to support plant needs.
    • Contribute to the 5-year energy management strategy to support plant needs.
  4. New Business/Product/Technology
    • Assess and specify utilities requirements to support new business, products, expansions, and equipment.
  5. Quality/Productivity
    • Ensure 100% compliance of the Facilities Team with IATF 16949, ISO 14000, ISO 50001, ESD, and 5S requirements through policy and procedure implementation.
    • Analyze data from monitoring records and service reports to identify risks and opportunities for cost and process improvements.
    • Prepare and propose annual operating and investment budgets for facilities operations and improvements.
  6. External/Internal Relations
    • Coordinate maintenance and project activities with end-users and other stakeholders.
    • Liaise with government agencies (e.g., PEZA) for the application of installation and operating permits.
    • Supervise project execution with contractors and service providers.
  7. Others
    • Represent the Facilities Section in various committee memberships.

  • Advanced knowledge in Facilities Planning, Maintenance Planning, Budget Planning, Mechanical System & Equipment Operations.
  • Basic knowledge in Electrical System & Equipment Operation.

  • Advanced

Occupational Safety and Health
  • Basic
Project Management
  • Advanced knowledge in mechanical system design and analysis, estimating costs, project specifications, contracts, and time planning.
  • Basic knowledge in CAD technology.
