
Technical Sales Manager

- Manage and develop strong, trusted business relationships with Veterinary Pet Shops, Strategic Accounts, General Trade, and distributor partners. Conduct business reviews and key account management plans to drive visibility and growth, sales productivity.
- Design and implement short-term and long-term sales goals, along with channel strategies to meet business objectives.
- Promote the functional attributes of the Pet Solution pantry to pet owners and veterinary professionals.
- Work in the field with distributor teams to maximize sales through distribution and selling opportunities, providing product training and coaching on individual selling and leadership skills.
- Develop and deliver training programs for commercial teams and customers to ensure value creation. Regularly visit and engage with key customers and veterinary clients.
- Respond promptly to technical inquiries from commercial teams, veterinary professionals, and pet owners.
- Keep marketing and commercial teams informed about new competitor products and marketing activities.
- Manage the regional budget for technical marketing effectively.
- Coordinate with distributor sales supervisors and representatives to ensure proper and effective implementation of activities.
- Handle objections and complaints professionally and follow up on all requests from key customers.
- Create forecasts based on market demand and distribution plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper business processes and compliance.
- Manage accounts receivable efficiently.
- Use time effectively to ensure task completion and efficiency.
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in companion animal nutrition and distributor management.
- Strong knowledge of pet food science.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and business ethics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
- Willingness to make frequent field/customer visits.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and as a team player.
- Experience with below-the-line activities and handling SPG, TL, and other promotional activities.
- Based in Makati, Manila.
- Preferably with experience in Companion Animal, Animal Nutrition, or Pet Food.
- Knowledge of distribution management and commercial skills.
- Proven experience managing distributors and/or key accounts.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Energetic, motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
