Work Set up: Work onsite (MAKATI)

General Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees the entire Manila Operation ensuring compliance with mandatory and statutory requirements.
  2. Create good relationships with government agencies and embassies.
  3. Review processes and create innovations for improvement.
  4. Ensure business continuity amidst challenges.
  5. Review performance of each unit.
  6. Lead the team in a customer-friendly environment.
  7. Take full profit & loss responsibility.
  8. Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities.
  9. Provide suggestions for business growth.
  10. Suggest ideas for increasing revenue.
  11. Suggest improvements for employee engagement.
  12. Create, review, and implement effective business plans.
  13. Attend meetings, trainings, seminars, and conferences.
  14. Develop and implement growth strategies.
  15. Train low-level managers and staff.
  16. Create and manage budgets.
  17. Improve revenue.
  18. Hire employees.
  19. Evaluate performance and productivity.
  20. Analyze accounting and financial data.
  21. Generate reports and give presentations to stakeholders.

General Manager Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Degree in business management or a master's degree in business-related courses.
  2. Previous working experience as a General Manager for 5 years.
  3. Good knowledge of different business functions.
  4. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
  6. A proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams.
  7. Multitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: Experience in the maritime industry; General Manager in cruise account is an advantage.

The General Manager is an executive with overall responsibility for all administrative functions in the company's business. Responsibilities include setting policies, allocating budget resources, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities. This is a senior position where the General Manager coordinates employees and supervises lower-level managers.
