DESCRIPTION
Amazon (Philippines) Finance Operations department seeks a bright, articulated, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Financial Analyst to play an important role in the Accounts Payable Financial Operations Team in Manila, Philippines. This is an AP Analyst (Korean Speaking) position that will focus on Accounts Payable with a strong emphasis on paying suppliers on time and all related activities in order to achieve this mission. Furthermore, this position will also support process improvement, controller-ship policies, and procedures.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Process invoices submitted by Amazon corporate vendors using internal financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  3. Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and invoice processing metrics to management, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in Operational Excellence programs, including Kaizen events and Green Belt projects, aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.

Please take note that this role requires the successful candidate to report onsite at Pasay City and will be working on a day shift schedule (8AM to 5PM).

A day in the life:
This position manually processes invoices for Corp critical vendors across different countries under the APAC region (excl. IN) in the PHL site as a recovery site for the BCP T0 process-Critical Vendor Invoice Processing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree holder.
  • At least 1 year of experience with a finance background.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken business English and Korean.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong internal and external customer focus with a work ethic driven by exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to deep dive while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple competing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting.
  • At least 2 years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience.
