Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the card-issuing business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and establishing new card-issuing partnerships, developing new products, and expanding our card base and market share.

As a Card Issuing Manager, you will:

  • Identify and establish new card-issuing partners, including product exploration, planning, providing solutions, and managing the onboarding process.

  • Design, develop, and implement strategies and programs to support the Issuing team in expanding the company's market presence.

  • Build and maintain partnerships and drive sales initiatives for the company's credit card issuers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet midyear and annual KPIs.

  • Pursue new partnerships for card-issuing business and grow existing relationships.

  • Propose new card products, features, and solutions for current and future partners.

  • Design, communicate, and implement card acquisition campaigns and promotions to increase support for the company's existing clients.

  • Engage in partner-initiated activities such as corporate presentations, sales rallies, and events.

  • Participate actively in internal and external meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate with senior management and peers to align business strategies with the company's Manila's overall mission.

  • Analyze data and reports from partner banks to make data-driven decisions that enhance business outcomes.

  • Conduct research to uncover new opportunities and strengthen the company's position in the market.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on the Issuing team's progress towards midyear and annual KPIs.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or partnerships, preferably in the banking or credit card industry.

  • Experience in product development, establishing new card-issuing partners, planning new products, and executing sales blitz or campaigns.

  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and data to drive business decisions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving business goals.
