About the role

Dewan Design Office Inc., a leading design firm in the Philippines, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sustainable outdoor spaces that enhance the lives of our clients and the local community. Our office is based in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead the design and development of high-quality landscape architecture projects, from concept to implementation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated design solutions.
  3. Conduct site analysis, prepare landscape plans, and oversee the installation of landscape elements.
  4. Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and sustainability best practices.
  5. Participate in business development activities, such as client presentations and proposal writing.
  6. Lead design development, distribute work among teams, and support junior members and design staff.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Landscape Architecture or closely related field.
  2. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Revit, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  3. 10+ years of experience as a landscape architect, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects including supervisory & PM roles.
  4. Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Landscape Design from conceptual ideas through to detail design development and construction detailing stage.
  5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical design solutions.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Knowledgeable of UAE/KSA construction materials and technology.
  8. Knowledgeable of UAE/KSA horticulture and plant selection.
  9. Understand of MENA climate and ecology.
  10. Knowledgeable of sustainability targets - specific to UAE/MENA.
  11. Advanced project management skills.
