Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer/Officer (Supervisor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's network, systems, and data. You will work closely with IT teams to design, implement, and monitor security measures, safeguard sensitive information, and mitigate risks associated with cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Solution Administration:

  • Administer, operate, and maintain security solutions, including installation, configuration, fine-tuning, and maintenance of threat components, such as: Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Antivirus, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Web Filtering or Proxy, Data Encryption, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

Security Policy Enforcement:

  • Responsible for standardizing and enforcing the organization's security policies for users and computers to maintain a secure environment.

Continuous Monitoring & Incident Response:

  • Oversee continuous monitoring of security systems and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely action on critical incidents. Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) for remediation.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in information security, security operations, or IT infrastructure with a focus on security tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex security issues in enterprise environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with a range of security tools, such as antivirus/endpoint protection, SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and IAM platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
  • Expertise in analyzing security logs, network traffic, and system events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
