Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and oversee electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.
Develop electrical designs, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Plan and evaluate electricity supply networks, distribution systems, and protection systems.
Ensure electrical systems meet project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with telecom, IT, data center, civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams.
Review electrical equipment specifications and technical submissions.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Identify electrical risks and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Monitor project implementation and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
At least 10 years of professional experience in Energy, IT, Information Systems, or IT Infrastructure.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in projects involving electricity supply networks and electrical protection systems.
Experience in telecommunications, data centers, or other critical infrastructure is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems, protection, and critical power infrastructure.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience with data center electrical infrastructure and critical power systems.
Experience with telecom facilities and mission-critical infrastructure.
Familiarity with electrical protection, power distribution, UPS, generators, and related systems.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects is an advantage.
