  5. Knowledgeable/Experience in Mining Tenements, Compliance
  6. Ability to Research and Develop new ideas
  7. Knowledgeable in Social Development Management
  8. Knowledgeable in Planning/Developing
  9. Experience in Drilling And Blasting work in aggregate, etc.
  10. Know how to handle Good Relationship with LGU
  11. Experience in budgets preparation and cost Benefit Analysis of Capital Expenditures
  12. Results driven/achiever with exemplary planning and ability in organizing

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  1. Responsible for overseeing mine engineering activities during the planning, development and operational stages of the company's mine/quarries in Bulacan.
  2. Provide recommendations with respect to economic viability of the mineral property, applying procedures requiring a high degree of accuracy and innovative methods to deal with unusual problems. Oversee the effective extraction of quarry materials such as aggregates, silica filing materials and others within the Permit Area.
  3. Direct and manage all mine production activities including planning, budgeting, staffing, cost control and profitability.
  4. Assess geological and engineering information and provide direction in the development of mine strategies.
  5. Manage the mining workforce in Bulacan.
  6. Ensure that the development/production targets are met.

COMPENSATION

Compensation is subject to negotiation depending on work experiences.

FUNCTIONS

Shall be summarized by DSMR below:

  1. Develop: establish the mining engineering standards and procedures through appropriate consultation, investigation, and analysis methods, with reference to any design principles, engineering, and technical standards relevant to legislative requirements, WHS, and risk management.
  2. Supervise: provide supervision of mining engineering standards and procedures through the processes of the mine safety management system. This may include but not be limited to a combination of the following methods: Verifying and giving advice on implementation General supervision and to a lesser extent direct supervision, as required to participate in the management of risk, including risk assessment processes and particularly those involving principle hazards of maintaining an understanding of WHS hazards and risks in the mining operations that are required to be controlled or eliminated and applying this knowledge.
  3. Monitor: periodically obtaining data and information to verify whether the mining engineering standards and procedures are being used and achieving their purpose (i.e. 'fit for purpose') by:
    1. Analyzing reports and information provided by other statutory function holders and consultative mechanisms under the safety management system.
    2. Observing mining operations and verifying compliance with legislation to support a safe and healthy workplace for all mine workers of ensuring that mining engineering standards and procedures used in any plans, such as trigger action response plans (TARPs), are relevant and timely to verifying mining engineering standards and procedures in principal hazard management plans and principal control plans.
    3. Evaluating audit outcomes on the effectiveness of the safety management system against its mining performance standards and procedures.
  4. Review: measuring the effectiveness of the mining engineering standards and procedures against the performance standards of the safety management system and external good (or best) practices so they remain current, effective, and improved where possible. They may rely on other workers and the safety management system processes for review activities to be completed including one or more of the following:
    1. Reviewing and evaluating audit results, health and safety performance outcomes, and remedial actions.
    2. Reviewing risk assessments and controls to ensure they refer to the appropriate standards, where applicable, and control the risks from hazards or considering relevant external information sources such as Original Equipment Manufacturer, Regulator and other safety and health type alert.
