The purpose of the Drafter/Modeller role is to support the development of a portfolio of water projects in WA & NT region in Australia. The role will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings for various water projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, dewatering, and general civil works.* Prepare and review detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for water and wastewater projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software* Communication of ideas and designs in written reports in clear and simple language* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements* Ensure designs are compliant with relevant Australian standards, client standards and regulations* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design quality and accuracy* Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant technical qualification and chartered status would be preferable.* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar* 5+ years of experience in water, wastewater, pipelines, pump stations, land development and civil drafting* Proficient in AutoCAD and terrain modelling software (12D preferred) and other relevant software (e.g. ArcGIS, MicroStation, Hydraulic Modelling)* Good communication and English written skills* Strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations is preferred* Knowledge or experience in Design Management Platforms (Aconex, Projectwise, 12D synergy, BIM 360 etc } is preferredOur **Aurecon Attributes** define our way of being – they are a collection of qualities that makes us who we are.
