Job Description

  • Infrastructure Design & Planning: Design and review enterprise infrastructure for IT projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and emerging technologies.
  • Project Oversight: Evaluate vendor-submitted project designs and BOMs; provide technical recommendations to ensure optimal solutions and compliance with internal standards.
  • Systems Review & Modernization: Identify and address deficiencies in current infrastructure; recommend and implement upgrades toward next-generation platforms.
  • Lifecycle Management: Track and remediate end-of-support (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) components in coordination with relevant units.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the infrastructure lead for assigned projects, collaborating closely with project teams and business units to shape technical roadmaps.
  • Standards & Governance: Support infrastructure documentation and architectural reviews; serve as the Infrastructure Division (ID) representative in strategic discussions and governance boards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance infrastructure evaluation processes, promote enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and stay abreast of evolving technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, ideally in banking, financial services, or similarly complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems administration, network architecture, IT operations, and data center technologies.
  • Experience evaluating and managing vendor solutions, including bill of materials and design proposals.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure lifecycle management, modernization, and cloud/hybrid transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
