Job Description: Social Media Associate
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
The Social Media Associate is responsible for managing and enhancing the online presence of M Catering and Fine Foods Inc. across various social media platforms. This role involves content creation, community engagement, brand awareness, and analytics tracking to ensure strong audience engagement and alignment with the company's marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management & Content Creation
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, and stories) across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company's branding, voice, and marketing objectives.
- Monitor trends in the food and catering industry to create relevant and compelling content.
- Community Engagement & Customer Interaction
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with followers, customers, and industry influencers to enhance brand presence.
- Address customer feedback, complaints, or inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Social Media Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics (reach, impressions, clicks, conversions) to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Generate monthly reports on social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
- Identify successful strategies and suggest optimizations for future campaigns.
- Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and contests.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with company events, product launches, and promotions.
- Support influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.
- Trend Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Experiment with new content formats and engagement techniques to improve brand presence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Excellent writing, communication, and creative skills.
Basic knowledge of graphic design (Canva, Photoshop) and video editing is a plus.
Experience in social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.).
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, flexible schedule depending on campaign requirements.
- May require occasional weekend work for live coverage of events.
