Social Media Manager Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Design, maintain, develop, and optimize social media platform strategies, including establishing new presence on emerging platforms to align with business goals.
  2. Create, monitor, and review organic social and video content, along with social campaigns ensuring traffic, growth, and engagement targets are achieved.
  3. Monitor and manage social campaigns across multiple platforms when necessary, proactively identifying underperforming content and social channel engagement, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  4. Planning, developing, editing, and updating social media content and campaigns using various marketing tools and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  5. Post content across social media accounts with weekly deliverables, including 4-5 static posts, 3 reels, and daily Instagram stories, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence that aligns with the brand's goals and resonates with the audience.
  6. Monitor and analyze running campaigns, customer expectations to past social media activity, and stay on top of the latest social media trends by researching current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  7. Engage with customers and followers by responding daily to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner, fostering meaningful interactions and building strong relationships to enhance customer loyalty and brand presence.
  8. Visit the café at least once a week or as scheduled to create engaging content such as photos, videos, or stories that highlight the café's ambiance, products, and services for social media and marketing purposes.
  9. Establish relationships with other social media influencers to develop a strong network.
  10. Responsible for daily responses to customer queries across various platforms and ensuring seamless communication by coordinating with the Admin team to address concerns, provide updates, and maintain high-quality service engagement.
  11. Consult with and directly report to the General Manager, providing updates, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making and ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
