• The Senior Graphic Artist is part of the Brown Forman Asia Design and Production Hub and is part of the Global Content Network team focused on optimizing and ensuring efficiency of our content production practices.


• The role is mainly focused on content creation, production, and adaptation.


• This role will report to the global Content Studio leadership with matrix reporting to regional business leads.

Responsibilities:

  1. Study design briefs and determine requirements.
  2. Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
  3. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
  4. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
  5. Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
  6. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic based on shared toolkits.
  7. Participate in collaborative revision and approval process with marketing and IMC team to produce final approved design.
  8. Test graphics across various media.
  9. Amend designs after feedback.
  10. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  11. Create designs for clients that visually communicate desired product or project messages. Designs may be used in various visual media including magazines, billboards, advertising, point of sale materials, and product packaging.
  12. Localize various Global layouts, iconography, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to client specifications.
  13. Meet with clients to discuss requirements and the design of the project.
  14. Create rough drafts and sketches of concepts, and present them to the respective manager and/or client for further discussion and revision.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines or a related fine arts field.
  2. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in graphic design and extensive knowledge of print, electronic, and graphics media.
  3. Priority on 3D rendering and copywriting experience.
  4. A strong portfolio of illustrations, other graphics, and/or designs.
  5. Superior artistic and design skills.
  6. High proficiency with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
  7. A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  11. Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the client and in accordance with the client's requirements.
  12. Excellent time management and planning skills.
