About the Role

As the Design Team Manager at Al Abbar Aluminum Philippines, Inc., you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company's architectural drafting team. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will play a vital part in shaping the design and development of the company's innovative aluminum products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for reading and understanding the contract specifications and contracts drawings.
  2. Lead and manage a team of talented architectural drafters to deliver high-quality design output.
  3. Oversee the design process, from conceptualization to finalization, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  4. Provide Technical Information and proposed design coordinated with system suppliers.
  5. Review and approve Material Take-Off and Cutting List.
  6. Responsible for maintaining necessary specifications for standard and non-standard construction.
  7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
  9. Continuously improve design processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  10. Contribute to the development of the company's design strategy and long-term vision.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 12 years of experience in façade design.
  3. Relevant experience in a management or leadership role within an architectural or design-focused organization.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suites.
  5. Excellent technical skills in architectural drafting, including proficiency in relevant software tools.
  6. Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative design solutions.
  8. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  9. Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Full-Time position.
