About the Role:

Responsible for the overall leadership, management, operations, growth, and profitability of the company with overall accountability for the Company’s Insurance Business and corporate support functions, including Non-Life and Life Insurance, Underwriting, Sales & Distribution, Business Development, Marketing, IT, HR, Compliance, and other operational functions.

The role provides strategic and executive leadership to ensure business growth, operational efficiency, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and effective management of all business units.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead sales, distribution, business development, and marketing strategies.
    • Drive new business, renewals, cross-selling, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
    • Identify new business opportunities, markets, products, and distribution channels.

Strengthen the Company’s competitive position and presence in the insurance market

1. Overall Business & Operations Leadership

  • Lead the overall strategy, operations, performance, and profitability of the Company.
  • Oversee all business and support functions, including Insurance, Underwriting, Sales, Distribution, Business Development, Marketing, IT, HR/Admin, and Compliance.
  • Establish business plans, targets, budgets, KPIs, and growth strategies.
  • Ensure effective coordination, accountability, and operational efficiency across all units.

2. Insurance Business Leadership

  • Lead the overall Life and Non-Life Insurance Business.
  • Provide strategic and technical direction on Non-Life underwriting, risk management, placement, portfolio management, and complex corporate accounts.
  • Drive sales, distribution, business development, client retention, and profitable portfolio growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, corporate clients, and industry partners.
  • Leverage an established insurance industry network to generate and expand business opportunities.

3. Sales, Business Development & Market Development

  • Lead sales, distribution, business development, and marketing strategies.
  • Drive new business, renewals, cross-selling, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, products, and distribution channels.
  • Strengthen the Company’s competitive position and presence in the insurance market.

4. Digital Innovation

  • Lead the Company’s overall digital transformation strategy to improve operational efficiency, client experience, business scalability, and competitiveness.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions that support the Company’s insurance operations, sales, distribution, client servicing, and management functions.
  • Oversee the development and continuous enhancement of digital platforms, including client portals, broker/agent platforms, CRM systems, policy administration, claims tracking, and other business applications.

5. Governance, Risk & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the Insurance Commission, Insurance Code, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee corporate governance, risk management, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Ensure insurance activities are conducted by properly licensed and authorized personnel.
  • Maintain effective policies and controls to support sound business operations.

6. Financial & Organizational Leadership

    • Oversee financial performance, profitability, budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
    • Establish performance standards and accountability across all business units.
    • Lead and develop senior leaders and teams across business and support functions.
    • Build the organizational capabilities and culture required for sustainable growth.
