Our client is a tech and data-driven B2B platform that enables both the sale and acquisition of second-hand luxury goods to/from auctions, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and stores worldwide. Their culture of continuous experimentation and innovation lets us create and deliver successful turnkey solutions to our global partners. They enabled players from different sectors of the e-commerce segment to successfully incorporate resale solutions in their business through the aid of our in-house data and tech teams, making turn-around quicker and more precise.

About the Role

The Junior Software Engineer will be part of our Channel Manager cluster, responsible for the development of a global luxury resale platform. We're looking for a team player that is passionate about tech products, has skills with C# and .NET and is looking for eager opportunities to grow;

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and evolution of a distributed, message-driven platform to connect Sellers and Buyers of second-hand luxury items;
  • Stay up to speed with all backend and web technologies, software architecture principles, and design patterns;
  • Apply your knowledge on performance and security measures;
  • Being able to work in an Agile environment, focusing on delivery/commitment and software continuous improvement;
  • Work with some of the following technologies: C#, Docker, Azure, Service Bus, Relational DBs.
Job Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Candidate must be proficient in C# and .NET.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Service Bus is a plus.
  • Ability to work on backend development with some exposure to full-stack tasks.
  • Understanding of integration between applications and data systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
