JOB OVERVIEW

As the Construction and Properties Head for our high-end residential property construction business, you will oversee all aspects of the company's operations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. You will manage teams, liaise with stakeholders, and drive business growth in a competitive and dynamic market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and growth objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Foster relationships with high-net-worth clients, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Oversee multiple high-end residential construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Implement best practices in project management to optimize efficiency and quality.

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and support staff.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for various projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Client Relations:

  • Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and professionally.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships to secure repeat business

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure construction meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Implement regular site inspections and audits to maintain high-quality standards.

Team Development:

  • Train, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional results.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field (with license preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-end residential construction or a related industry.
  • Proven track record in management roles.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and financial principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
