The Medical City Ortigas is searching for a Radiology Clerk to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is directly responsible for performing patient registration, preliminary assessments, charging of procedures and other patient-related administrative processes prior and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
What's The Role All About?
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the patients' comfort and attending to their needs upon arrival until registration is complete.
- Checking the physician's order for complete information and proper examination and schedules.
- Obtaining sufficient information to determine whether the examination should be performed immediately or within a specific time frame.
- Reviewing requisitions, verifying patient and procedure, verifying patient information and clearances (for special procedure and cases) prior to endorsing to RT for procedure.

An effective Radiology Clerk must possess the following skills:
- Attention to detail: Ensure the patient's complete understanding of the procedure; ensures that all administrative works with relation to patient's information are well-checked, secured, and in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Delivers the best patient-care experience to all patients: Ensuring the patients' comfort and attending to their needs upon arrival until registration is complete.
- Complies with organizational policies: Practicing the hospital infection control guidelines and good housekeeping to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare workers.
A candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's degree course with at least six (6) months of clerical and administrative experience. Ideally, the candidate should have at least 1 year of work experience in other healthcare institutions.
