SAP Data Management Lead

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the SAP Data Management Strategy aligned with the firm's business applications and IT services.
  2. Oversee data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality initiatives within SAP environments.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of SAP data with Snowflake and other data platforms within the firm's ecosystem.
  4. Design and implement SAP data security policies, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and compliance measures.
  5. Optimize SAP data architecture for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with ServiceNow integration efforts to enhance workflow automation and improve data accessibility.
  7. Provide guidance on data migration, transformation, and cleansing for SAP projects.
  8. Work closely with Private Equity and Investment teams to ensure SAP data alignment with financial and operational reporting needs.
  9. Lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and administrators supporting SAP data initiatives.
  10. Stay updated with emerging AI/ML applications in SAP Data Management and explore how AI solutions can be leveraged within the firm's data ecosystem.

Job Requirements:

  1. 8+ years of experience in SAP Data Management, MDM, and Data Governance roles.
  2. Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Data Services, and SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).
  3. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  4. Experience integrating SAP data with Snowflake, ServiceNow, and other cloud-based solutions.
  5. Familiarity with RBAC, data security frameworks, and compliance regulations (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
  6. Strong understanding of Private Equity, Investment Management, and Fund Operations is a plus.
  7. Hands-on experience in AI/ML-based data classification, analytics, and automation is desirable.
  8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical data solutions into business insights.

Preferred Certifications:

  1. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Master Data Governance
  2. SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA
  3. Snowflake Data Engineer Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
