Customise product specifications for Doors, Gates, Hatches and Barriers that automatically secure buildings in emergency situations.

Realise your potential working with the latest Autodesk Product, Design & Manufacturing (PDM) Collection (2025) on custom built computers.

The Client will provide instructions via daily video calls and quality control your results to ensure designs comply with Australian standards.

Successful candidates will have interviews via video calls and complete a 'Skills Test' to demonstrate their Inventor skills.

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or certification in a similar Industrial Design course is essential for this role.
  • Registration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Mechanical Engineers will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of 3D Modelling experience using Autodesk Inventor is essential for this role.
  • At least 5 years of 2D Drafting experience using Autodesk AutoCAD is essential for this role.
  • Experience using Version Control programs such as Vault Professional is required for this role.
  • Experience using other 3D Modelling programs such as SolidWorks or SketchUp will be an advantage.
  • Experience using other Rendering and Animation programs such as V-Ray or 3DS Max will be an advantage.
  • Experience using Video Call programs such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom will be an advantage.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office web based programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook will be an advantage.
  • Experience using online File Sharing systems such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox will be an advantage.
  • Experience using online Time Tracking systems such as Time Doctor or DeskTime will be an advantage.
  • Experience in similar mechanical design and modelling positions will also be an advantage.

Other Skills:

  • Fluent English reading, writing and speaking skills are essential for this role.
  • Attention to detail and a passion to produce high quality CAD files.
  • Willingness to speak up and ask questions to confirm Client instructions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and follow Client standards.
  • Ability to solve problems using logic, reason and common sense.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative when completing tasks.
  • Professional attitude demonstrated by taking responsibility for your results.

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts based on Australian business hours and Australian Public Holidays.
  • Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Philippine Standard Time (PST).
  • Standard 9 hour shifts including 8 hours of work and 1 hour of unpaid breaks.
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week working weekdays from Monday to Friday.
  • Paid overtime including an additional 25% on your regular hourly rate.
  • Regularisation after a 6 month probation period based on your performance.
  • This is an office based role working from our new office building near Uptown BGC.
  • Please note Work From Home (WFH) and 'Hybrid Setups' are not offered for this role.
