Job Description

As a Finance Specialist (Cash Disbursement), you will handle financial transactions, perform bookkeeping, and manage accounts payable functions. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any Business-related course.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in cash disbursement or finance-related roles.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry and processing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle a demanding workload.
  • Willingness to work in Ortigas, Pasig, and/or Mandaluyong City.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Support the Procurement Team and Cash Disbursement.
  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions such as bank reconciliation, accounts payable, analysis, report generation, and audit preparation.
  • Manage the monthly submission of schedules and account analysis (Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation).
  • Proactively participate in completing deliverables to management and government bodies, timely and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
  • Support and perform administration and accounting tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Manager, Head of Payroll, Head of Finance, CFO, and the entire finance team.
  • Facilitate a positive team environment, encouraging site operations teams to achieve common goals.
  • Initiate strategies to ensure individual and team tasks and goals are met.
  • Attend on-site meetings, events, and other office activities as directed.
  • Adhere to finance department's set standards.
  • Practice and promote company values.
