The Finance Manager position oversees the day-to-day Accounting Operations to ensure accurate, timely and consistent reporting in accordance with policies and procedures, state and local laws and regulations. Assist and support the Asst. Director for Finance and Administration in maintaining control over income, expenses and the assets and liabilities of the company.

Essential FunctionsQuality
  1. Supporting the business unit in maximizing revenue and profitability through timely and insightful financial analysis.
  2. Directing the Accounting function on general accounting and payment processing, credit and collection, sales and inventory control.
  3. Supervising the Treasury function, ensuring the most efficient use of capital and a secure handling of all bank and cash transactions, as well as leading initiatives to improve the company's cash flow.
  4. Meeting the financial and statutory reporting requirements and providing management with the financial results and analysis for tracking actual performance versus budget.
  5. Ensuring that appropriate financial and operational controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
  6. Driving the business process simplification and automation to eliminate non-value adding activities while ensuring controls are in place.
  7. Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
Customer
  1. Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed.
  2. Watch the cash flow over the financial transaction with the clients and the purchaser of the assets of the company.
People
  1. Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.
  2. Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff.
  3. Handle the day to day job performance of the staff members.
Financial
  1. Budget Monitoring
  2. Assist in monitoring of monthly actual results against the budget.
JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation
  1. Degree in Accountancy.
  2. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Experience
  1. At least 5 years combined experience in Audit, Controllership and Treasury roles, preferably gained in one of the Big Four Audit firms, or Hotel/gaming industry.
  2. Good knowledge of taxation rulings (e.g. Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, business taxes) and internal control procedures.
