Cloud/DevOps Engineer

FPT Smart Cloud is hiring a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing large-scale cloud infrastructure that powers our AI & Cloud platforms.

• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to automate software delivery.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and automation systems using Python (Golang is a plus).
• Operate and monitor cloud infrastructure on Kubernetes, including scaling, upgrades, and incident response.
• Integrate and manage observability tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Implement security best practices and manage sensitive configuration and secrets.
• Use infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) to maintain and scale systems.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve deployment workflows and platform reliability.
• Document operational runbooks, architecture, and DevOps processes.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and practices to optimize system performance and cost.

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Solid programming skills in Python, with experience building backend services, automation tools, or internal platforms (Golang is a plus).
• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Skilled in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Proficient in Docker, Linux systems, and cloud-native application operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Helm, Ansible, etc.
• Familiarity with observability stacks: VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Understanding of networking, infrastructure security, and secrets management.
• Experience with OpenStack is a strong plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to read and write technical documentation in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Site Hanoi: 7th Floor, FPT Tower, no. 10 Pham Van Bach Street, Dich Vong ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
• Working hours:
  • 8h30 AM – 12h00 PM
  • 1h00 PM – 5h30 PM
• Working days: Monday to Friday (weekends off)
