Job Description
I. Role Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Operation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon specializing in hair, nail, and eyelash services.
- The ideal candidate has strong service industry experience (preferably in health and beauty), with solid knowledge of financial management and staff leadership.
- This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring exceptional customer experience, managing staff performance, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- A. Operations Management
- Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and client satisfaction
- Monitor appointment scheduling and optimize chair/technician utilization
- Implement and improve operational processes
- B. Staff Management and Leadership
- Supervise sales performance of assigned branch(es) and key personnel
- Conduct performance evaluations of assigned branch(es) and key personnel
- Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives
- C. Financial Management
- Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales, revenue targets, and service performance
- Manage operating budgets and control expenses
- Track payroll, commissions, and incentives
- Analyze financial reports (P&L) and identify improvement opportunities
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- D. Customer Experience and Sales Growth
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Develop promotions and upselling strategies
- Monitor online reviews and reputation management
- Drive client retention and loyalty programs
- E. Inventory and Vendor Management
- Monitor product inventory and reorder supplies
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships
- Minimize product wastage and control stock costs
- F. Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain professional and brand standards
- Ensure proper licensing and certifications are up to date
Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Experience in health & beauty, salon, spa, or retail operations strongly preferred
- Minimum 3‑5 years of management experience in the service industry
- Experience handling budgets and financial reporting
- Knowledge of payroll, commissions, and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Customer‑focused mindset
