Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize SAP FICO, MM, and Ariba modules to meet business requirements.
  • Design and document end-to-end process maps for finance, procurement, and supply chain workflows.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure SAP configurations align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Process Improvements & Enhancements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify areas for process optimization and implement SAP-based solutions.
  • Assess business needs and recommend enhancements or new functionalities within SAP FICO, MM, and Ariba modules.
  • Partner with development teams to design and test system enhancements or custom developments.
Issue Assessment & Resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact for technical and functional support related to SAP.
Training & Key User Enablement
  • Develop and deliver training programs for key users and business stakeholders to enhance their SAP expertise.
  • Create user guides, documentation, and best practices for SAP functionalities and processes.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for the key user network, ensuring they can provide first-level support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, procurement, supply chain) to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and SAP support teams to address complex issues and deliver enhancements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of SAP projects and upgrades.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure all SAP configurations and processes comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of SAP data integrity and process effectiveness.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO, MM, and Ariba modules in both functional and technical capacities.
  • Proven expertise in SAP configuration, process mapping, and driving process improvements.
  • Experience in issue resolution, user training, and managing SAP enhancements.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FICO (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management).
  • Proficiency in SAP MM (e.g., procurement, inventory management) and Ariba (e.g., sourcing, contracts, supplier management).
  • Experience with SAP tools for configuration, process improvement, and integration.
  • Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques (e.g., user exits, BAPIs, custom reports).
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead training sessions and workshops.
