I. General Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and/or legal counsels, the paralegal assists in the legal review of leases and ensures compliance with business permit and insurance requirements. He/She prepares, archives, and monitors documentation related to leases, insurance, gym management service agreements, and other transactions entered into by the business.

The role aims to support the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and legal counsels by:

  • Reviewing, preparing, and finalizing lease agreements and renewals;
  • Managing insurance requirements and liaising with internal stakeholders, insurers, or brokers on claims;
  • Monitoring business permit applications and ensuring timely submission of requirements;
  • Ensuring all gym management service agreements are in place for corporate clubs across markets.

II. Qualification Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences
  2. Minimum four years of paralegal experience
  3. Proficiency in English and MS Office
  4. Strong organizational and communication skills

III. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with corporate secretarial and housekeeping requirements across all group companies; draft DRIWs and MRIWs for group companies, circulate for approval, and secure signatures;
  2. Review standard agreements using preapproved checklists; confirm departmental approvals before document release; record and archive all executed documents properly;
  3. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on new or amended laws and regulations affecting property management;
  4. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering excellent client service;
  5. Provide legal and regulatory compliance support, including company secretarial tasks, as needed;
  6. Coordinate with departments to ensure requests for corporate documents, affidavits, contracts, and other agreements are correctly endorsed and processed;
  7. Maintain databases on insurance, registrations, licenses, leases, and property transactions;
  8. Offer preliminary legal or administrative guidance on documentary requirements for permits, licenses, insurance claims, and funding processes.
