Overview

The Reference Data Services Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role with a basic understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to carry out assigned tasks. The role has limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided and requires the ability to exchange information concisely while being sensitive to audience diversity. This is a junior analyst position within the MAC Documentation Operations Unit. Responsibilities include processing trading legal agreements with a primary focus on data quality support of global contract negotiations and trades, including document review, data entry, exception reporting, document scanning and warehousing for legal documents such as ISDA, SFT Agreements (MRA, GMRA, MSLA, MSFTA) and Futures Agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Remediates data in the Clients and Security Coding systems
  • Performs trend analysis and identifies root causes; implements or suggests solutions based on root-cause analysis
  • Liaises with other teams globally to ensure data quality is remediated
  • Provides a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Owns ad-hoc projects from inception through to completion
  • Provides tangible metrics to Management
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying ethical judgment, escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications
  • Eye for detail and ability to process data quickly without errors
  • Ability to read and comprehend various documentation
  • Ability to manage control practices with a risk-based approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in managing data remediation work streams and projects
  • Experience maintaining client static data within a capital markets environment
  • Takes ownership of allocated work and is accountable
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed
  • Financial services related qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Working in APAC shift (from 9am to 6pm).
