Job Description:
Regional Immigration Specialist - to be based in Manila and managed by the Regional Immigration Coordinator
Objective:
A crucial role in supporting the Regional Immigration Coordinator for the APAC region, as well as other regional teams. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized knowledge and assistance to the Regional Immigration Coordinator, helping to navigate complex immigration processes.
- Manage and organize documentation related to immigration casework, including visa applications, work permits for countries of responsibility, assistance with document collation, online data entry for applications, direct communication with clients and assignees, tracking of visa expiries, and initiation of renewals as necessary.
- Assist with immigration case progress, expiry and volume reporting, presentations, and correspondences as required.
- Assist the Regional Immigration Coordinator and other colleagues as required in responding to inquiries from employees and external stakeholders regarding immigration processes and status updates.
- Assist with the management of regional service partners including renewals and updating of accredited documentation.
- Support with creation of new customer ID for private clients in APAC and updating existing customer ID as requested.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Regional Immigration Coordinator and other team members.
Additional Duties:
- Perform any additional ad hoc or project work assigned by the Regional Immigration Management team, including clean-up tasks in Interact and INSZOOM.
- Support with implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in handling immigration-related tasks.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Immigration Coordinator in managing service partner deposit requests for assigned countries.
- Collaborate with finance teams to process vendor invoices efficiently.
- Raise job costs and monthly billings promptly for assigned countries and ad hoc cases.
- Update and monitor relevant financial reports regularly.
