MEPF Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary:

The MEPF Electrical Supervisor will be utilized on a small scale up to big scale MEPF Projects. He/She will be in charge of the supervision and coordination of Electrical, Electronics, and ELV works and will lead, motivate, monitor, and oversee the electrical team to ensure they produce quality work. Electrical Supervisors will provide technical guidance regarding the proper implementation of electrical drawings and ensure all works are in accordance with the technical specifications, contract, local, and international standards.

Detailed Job Description:

  • Determines the works to be done for a project through careful analysis of Electrical and Auxiliary works intended for the project and prepares a draft schedule for the whole electrical and auxiliary works.
  • Aids the MEPF Site Manager/Head/Electrical Superintendent in formulating the MEPF Coordinated Project Schedule and prepares necessary manpower loading for every Electrical and Auxiliary Work deliverables.
  • Determines and prepares summary or list of all long lead Electrical and Auxiliary materials or equipment.
  • Plans, records, and prepares work activities and work accomplishments on a daily basis and submits reports weekly to his immediate superior.
  • Prepares summary or list of necessary Testing and Commissioning procedures and forms intended for all Electrical and Auxiliary Scope of works.
  • Prepares summary or list of gathered Operation and Maintenance manuals from installed Electrical and Auxiliary equipment. Updates this summary and submits a report monthly to immediate superior.
  • Rechecks Bill of Quantity in reference to the approved "Good for Construction" drawings during the early period of the project. Notifies in writing or prepares "Request for Information" through immediate superior should there be any discrepancies with the Contract BOQ and GFC Drawing.
  • Prepares materials quantity take-off and material requisition for procurement purposes and on-site requirements and follows up regularly for timely delivery of materials. Provides summary and updates regularly the materials requisition.
  • Attends coordination meetings related to electrical and associated auxiliary works.
  • Supervises, monitors, and conducts field surveys and supervision on-site related to electrical works and ensures proper coordination of drawing and its implementation has been observed.
  • Oversees the preparation of shop drawings and detailing and assists MEPF Site Manager/Head/Electrical Superintendent and Site Engineering Team for some engineering works as required.
  • Performs on-site supervision and inspects work particularly important Electrical works efficiently and accurately, including interfacing works with other disciplines while ensuring compliance with the standard procedure, project specification, contract BOQ, local, and international standards.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum of 3 years in the field of Electrical with Testing and Commissioning, preferably with Electronic and ELV Systems and with years of field supervision for Electrical, Electronic, and ELV Scope of works.

Male or Female with PRC License with good written and communication skills, fluent in English, knowledge in Electrical Design, Quantification, and Estimates.
