We Are Looking for an Operations Manager Who Will:

Be responsible for the operational performance of Essilor Philippines on a national level. This includes overseeing laboratory industrial performances (including EHS), as well as global supply chain and distribution. The role reports to the Head of SEA Operations with a dotted line to the General Manager of EPODI.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Lead, motivate, and train teams to achieve performance KPIs.
  3. Develop, review, and implement SOPs, KPIs, and policies aligned with business objectives.
  4. Ensure smooth introduction of new products or processes, including necessary equipment and organizational setup.
  5. Manage CAPEX, including budget planning, ordering, and implementation.
  6. Drive continuous improvement of work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  7. Prepare and analyze management reports on staffing, workflow, and key performance metrics.
  8. Identify operational issues and recommend solutions.
  9. Oversee performance management, including objective setting, team meetings, and employee development plans.
  10. Gather business needs and provide solutions to support company growth.
  11. Other tasks as assigned.
Main Requirements:
  1. Tertiary education in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or Manufacturing/Logistics/Production Management.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management.
  3. Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification with demonstrated application.
  4. Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  5. Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
  6. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  9. High level of integrity and motivation.
  10. Hands-on approach to management.
  11. Moderate travel required (approximately 20%).
  12. Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
