POSITION SUMMARY:The role of the Manager, Hotel Revenue Management is to help the company maximize revenue through inventory control, pricing and distribution. He/She is required to lead a team producing management reports to proactively monitor segment revenue performance and room occupancy while recommending and implementing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities. He/She handles day-to-day revenue management operations including competitive pricing for all properties within City of Dreams Manila.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Proactively manages room inventory through various sales channels (gaming and hospitality channels) and platforms to ensure optimization of revenue.
- Optimize channel distribution, room availability, and competitive pricing to achieve revenue goals and the best possible STR performance.
- Monitors and understands the pricing of competitors, the dynamics of the local market, and demand generators.
- Devices forecasting model to estimate demand and to develop annual room strategy plan that is incorporated into casino & hotel marketing programs and initiatives.
- Works closely with the group sales team. Evaluates group leads to ensure pricing competitiveness and profitability.
- Conducts market research and analyzes market trends in pricing and occupancy.
- Ensure the effective use of revenue management systems and tools. Leads the efforts in visibility of product on company, third party, and other applicable distribution channels with correct pricing and room availability.
- Generates performance reports, translates statistics into insights and insights into actionable items.
- Monitors and adjusts strategies to ensure revenue performance.
- Leads, monitors and evaluates all revenue management initiatives.
- Collaborates with Sales, Events and Marketing teams, other department, and external vendors/partners to develop targeted offers and promotions.
- Performs an active role in preparing the annual room revenue budget for all the properties of City of Dreams Manila.
- Coordinates all global brand-initiated sales, revenue and marketing initiatives with all concerned departments.
- Manages, mentors, and leads the revenue team with efficient deployment of resources and constantly reviews workflow to ensure resources are utilized in an effective and efficient manner.
- Develops and implements revenue management training programs for the team.
- Aligns the plans of individual business units and functions with the overall strategic direction and positioning of the Company.
- Works closely with operating departments to maximize room availability and revenue.
- Leads efforts to ensure Forbes five standards are met especially on the digital front.
- Performs any other projects or tasks as assigned by the Director, Hotel Operations.
- Works closely with the Strategic Marketing team especially the Director performing projects or tasks requested.
- Annual revenue and EBITDA for casino and hotel.
- Improvement in hotel KPI's – revenue, ADR, theoretical win per room.
- Timely completion of delegated tasks with accuracy.
- STR report and performance against the market.
- Displays a high commitment in delivering and improving customer service, internally or externally.
- Preferably 5 years of experience in the field of Yield/Revenue Management with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles.
- Experience in Hotel/F&B/Retail Yield Management system setup in integrated resorts is an advantage.
Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science or marketing, relevant training in Hotel and Revenue Management.
